Helping a Care Home get back on track...
One of Sorted's most recent assignments has been to assist a UK Care Home with the re-configuration and re-build of their bespoke database/management system; together with Sage 50 Accounts work and remote training sessions.
Due to changeover of staff and a lack of confidence in monthly figures generated from both their day-to-day management database and their Sage 50 Accounts, a full 'house clean' and audit was delivered.
Sorted worked with the company over an initial 4 week period, verifying and auditing Sage transactional data and competeing rebuildng their database system from scratch. Their database was re-configured, permissions added, new fields and settings created that better fit their business operations and then the massive task of re-inputting and verifying their data into it. Everything completed via a remote connection and from the USA.
The new Director was tasked with taking over the monthly accounts and whilst was fully competent in using and managing the database system; CareFlex, a new updated version had been provided so training and guidence was needed. She had very limited experience with Sage 50 Accounts; afterall her role was to manage the business day-to-day - they had a book keeper and accountants for all things Sage!
So working with them, Sorted was able to get them back on track and able to produce sensible and meaniful figures for their end of year accounts and get the new finanical year started correctly. Their accountants could have provided this service to them but they chose Sorted, based on our extensive experience with Sage 50 Accounts and of course our vast knowledge of their database system; CareFlex.
Sorted's costs were also far less than an accountants, yet still delivered the same, if not, a more bespoke service.
It just goes to illustrate that practically anything can be acheived with the use of technology these days, and whilst Sorted is primarily based in the USA, we were able to successfully deliver and provide ongoing support to a UK company.
